The Sugar Insurance Fund Board wishes to inform all sugarcane planters, métayers, sugar estates, milling companies and other stakeholders of the Sugar Industry that the Board will be commissioning an Actuarial Review of the Fund.

The appointed Actuarial Consulting firm will be required to, inter-alia, review the position of the Fund and its terms of insurance. Please consult our website www.sifb.mu for more information on the Terms of Reference (ToR) of the Actuarial Review 2025/26.

All insureds and stakeholders are invited to submit any written memorandum for consideration by the Consulting Actuaries. The submissions should preferably be in English.

The memorandum submissions should be clearly marked “Actuarial Review 2025/26” on the envelope and be forwarded to The Officer-in-Charge, SIFB, 18 SSR Street, PORT-LOUIS by 30 January 2026 latest.
